This tribute is for my sister Jade McQueen (Jayde). She was 15 years old coming 16 in 9 days. She got knocked down on Anniesland Road along with her best friend Zoe Wilson aged 14. They were at the bus stop during there break. They were going to catch a bus at the other side. There was already a bus at that bus stop when they noticed the bus coming at the other side they ran without looking. They had been knocked down by Transit van they both got hit at the same time. Jade and Zoe had been rushed to Western Inf. Zoe was stable but Jade had been took to the Southen Genarul for really bad head injures. They had put her into a deep sleep so her brain could rest and did every thing Else for her like breathing etc. Nothing got better after 5 days Jayde died of brain injures at 3 in the morning. She will be sadly missed by every one especially myself and my brothers and sisters Toni-18, Shauney-14, Connor-12, Dylan-9, Cara-7, Kelsey-7, Robbie-6 and the rest of the family.
The Promise
Of angel wings and heavenly things
There’s very little known,
For those who have the answers
Are, forever, from us gone.
Life in the hereafter,
In faith, I must accept;
Thoughts that trouble not the people
With families still intact.
But, those of us who’ve traveled
Down the lonely path of grief,
Are forever seeking answers
To the riddle, which is life.
We trek through shadowed forests
Past the ugly shroud of death,
Toward a promise for the future
Of a kinder, better place.
So, we look to see the angel wings
And listen for the hymn
That God will send to guide us
When we leave to be with Him.
